If the Czech Inn video has taught us anything, it's that sometimes it's hard to bate a low budget advert.

What exactly Vinny T was aiming to achieve by this stunt we will never know. We presume he sells furniture, so why get on the roof? With an electric guitar that you're not even playing? Attempting to fall from a building onto a shit load of matresses piled on top of a car? I'm pretty sure he's attempted to look like the Fonz, as well. So many questions, absolutely no answers. All I know is that i've watched it 50 times and i'm still in bits.

The chit chat at the end is pure gold, and all.

What's more, it seems the director, Paul Thomas Anderson (The Master, There Will Be Blood), was taken with the advert just as much as we were. So much so that he recreated the ad, almost word for word, for his 2002 film 'Punch-Drunk Love' in which Philip Seymour Hoffman's character, Dean 'The Mattress Man' Trumbell, is the man taking the fall. Unfortunately, the re-enactment didn't make the film's final cut, but at least it found it's way onto the internet, all the same. Take a look. It's uncanny.
