What is it about the octopus that makes them so terrifying?

Is it the tentacles? Their weird eyes? The fact that they can escape just about any scenario?

Whatever it is, octopodes - that's the plural of octopus, by the way - are terrifying.

So, adding yet another entry to our 'Damn Nature, You Scary' file, we present this - an octopus escaping a sealed jar.

Watch and be horrified / amazed.

If they somehow work out how to survive without water and walk amongst us, we're all doomed.

Truly, they are the evil geniuses of the ocean.
