We'd implore someone burn it with fire, but this thing is in the sewer so there's not much chance of that happening, so BURN IT WITH WATER!

A tourist in Bangkok got a bit of shock when he came across what he thought was a Komodo dragon underneath one of the city's storm drain.

As it turns out those things are actually closer to three metres long and only live on very remote islands near Indonesia, unlike this one, which was said to be closer to one metre in length.

Locals told the tourist, John Hernandez, that these tend to hunt in packs for rats, so it's more likely to be a "Water monitor lizard". Seemingly not only are they extremely creepy as well as common in Asia, but they also sound live a government worker, so we're especially nervous now.
