Unless you've been actively avoiding it, you will know by now that Euro 2016 is well under way.

While it's generally been scenes of celebration amongst the various sets of fans that have descended upon the green fields of France, there have been unfortunate scenes of violence in Marseille. Firstly from the England fans prior to their opening match on Saturday and then again as they came under attack from Russia's followers at the end of their sides' 1-1 draw.

It's been upsetting to see this kind of carry on from both sets of fans and it instills a sense of pride in our own fans with how they've been conducting themselves in Paris thus far.

An RTÉ News Reporter was mixing with some of the Irish fans in Paris and got their thoughts on whether the Irish might ever get involved in acts of football hooligansism. The response from one Irish fan to the suggestion of such a thing was absolutely priceless.
