One of the things that people don't give Interstellar credit enough for is just how realistic it was, especially after seeing this video.

This video, captured in March of last year, shows a Soyuz spacecraft going through its docking procedure with the International Space Station. From start to finish, docking with the ISS takes almost half an hour, however here it's been sped up to a little under three minutes for posterity.

And it's also got the music from Interstellar, making it even more cool.

As you can see, it's a particularly complex procedure and it's no surprise that it takes 26 minutes to dock. The spacecraft itself launched the Baikonour Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan with three engineers and made contact with the International Space Station six hours after launch.

Space is amazing.
