Thank everything in the universe and whatever divine power you believe in that we got away from dial-up internet and floppy disks, otherwise this is the world we could still be living in.
In case you're too young to remember, this is actually what happened when you wanted to use the internet back then. Everything installed off floppy disks or CDs and the internet was the slowest thing in the world and looked awful. And it cost a bomb in phone charges.
Thankfully now all we have to worry about with Facebook is how much of our information it stores and sells to advertisers and how much of our lives and time it's absorbing. And who cares about that?
