The Gordon Dam in Tasmania is a sight to behold, at a staggering 415 feet tall, so what else would you do but try and throw a basketball off it into a hoop below?
That's exactly what the guys at How Ridiculous thought, and having first come up with the idea back in 2010, they were finally able to realise the dream and make it a reality recently, breaking the world record for the highest altitude basketball shot along the way.
The previous record was 91 metres (298.56 feet) off the Euromast in Netherlands, but this shot totally smashed that from atop the 126.5 metre (415 feet) dam. We have to give the guys incredible props in that they accounted for the last minute turn the ball made right before it slotted in. Physics FTW.
