With the release of the latest installment in the Batman: Arkham franchise taking place today, special effects master Julian Checkley decided there was no better time to debut his newest cosplay suit.

Checkley owns Order 66 Special Effects, based in Galway, and is clearly a big fan of the games, as he put a whole lot of effort into creating an incredibly realistic version of the batsuit from the Arkham Origins game.

Checkley even fitted it with a flame thrower, which is not something you often see Bats carrying around, but it's a pretty cool addition to the suit. He grabbed some footage of the suit in action, most of which is in slow motion because it makes it look even more badass.

The main part of the suit was 3D printed by Gaunlet FX and Tundra Designs, while the cape was created by Cantina Costumes. All he needs now is a giant tank that he can turn into a Batmobile and he's good to go to protect the residents of Galway.
