If this is how it really went down, then he's got no excuses. 

Some footage captured at this weekend's game between Everton and Sunderland seems to show an Everton fan picking his nose and then wiping it on a woman's head in the crowd, which is pretty damn disgusting. 

Now, that doesn't make for pleasant viewing and most juries would convict on that alone, but @farmerjones contacted SB Nation to provide an alternative version of events which could also be true.

That seems plausible, and it would also mean that we don't have to give up all faith in humanity.
