Paul Taylor is a Brit living in France and in this short slightly NSFW video he explains the difficulty that comes with the concept of 'La Bise', the French greeting of kissing on cheeks. If you thought it was a simple graze on each cheek, you're wrong. It's a lot more complicated than that, which makes Taylor's frustrations all the more valid.
The easiest way to avoid any of this? Just don't go to France. It's overrated anyway. Stay here where you're never sure to shake someone's hand or go in for a hug or just wave at them from three feet away. So much easier.
