You don't have to be really, really tall to play basketball, but it definitely helps.

Every kid is different, with some getting their growth spurts late in their teens or even beyond that. Famously, Michael Jordan was deemed "too short" for his high school basketball team until he had a late growth spurt, and another great of the game, Scottie Pippen, even grew nearly six inches in college, according to legend.

For one 13-year-old in Romania, Robert Bobroczky, he has had an early growth spurt. Really early, and very much a spurt, because he's 7'4". Towering over his team-mates, Robert could be forgiven for demanding the ball all the time, but judging by the video he's happy to pass and move and take instruction from his coaches.

He also trains with a professional team (since those lads are around his height) but we can only imagine the fear on the faces of the teenagers on the opposing teams when he shows up for an away game.

Obviously, having hit that height so early, he'll need to bulk up a little bit, as he looks to still be getting used to his size, but there could be great things in his future, he just needs to work on those fundamentals.
