TV network 2 Zebra in Norway decided to combine the latest in VR technology with the "spider camera" that gives an aerial view of the pitch.

While there would be an advantage to getting an aerial view for managers and some pundits to get a real tactical insight into the flow of the game, it turns out that it is of absolutely no benefit to the players on the pitch.

As they attempt to watch the game from above, they have absolutely no idea where they are, where the ball is and what the hell is going on, so they end up walking around slowly like zombies trying to find their way around.

Our Norwegian is not so hot, but we presume most of what they're saying on the field is "where's the ball" and "get the ball".
