Whatever your opinion on bull-fighting is, there's no denying it's a huge part of Spanish culture.

Bull-fighting regularly draws massive crowds in Barcelona and Southern Spain, however there's a non-violent alternative that has the same spectacle of a massive bull charging at a man.

Recortadores are acrobats who get into a ring with a bull and basically do somersaults over it as it charges right at them.

The sport can be traced back to Minoan culture, which revered bulls and treated them as near-divine creatures.

In fact, the bulls themselves are given top billing in the performance, rather than the acrobats themselves.

The bulls aren't prodded or harmed in any way, however the more aggressive the bull, the more likely it's put in the ring with a recortadore.

There's still a huge element of danger as it's a live bull that's super angry, but at least the thing isn't being stuck with swords and spears.

Just last week, a matador in Spain lost his right testicle following a bull attack during a performance.

You could see he's a right bolloc.. No. Too easy.
