There are two weird things about this musicless version of the 'Friends' intro, the first being something that we never really questioned. Why the hell are they playing around in a fountain?
We'd get it if there was a reference to it in 'I'll Be There For You' by The Rembrandts, but there isn't (apart from maybe the 'when the rain starts to fall' bit).
The other weird thing? Only when we watched it without the music did we realise that we never once actually saw that fountain in the show. What did it have to do with anything? We welcome any and all speculation and conspiracy theories.
