'Tis the season for maudlin Christmas ads...
We've seen Monty the Penguin and Sainsbury's effort at making us feel all the emotions, but the first of the Irish companies to release a Christmas-themed ad is Dunnes, and it landed this morning.
Featuring a cute dog, delicious turkey and a touching moment that involves a book, they're certainly trying to tug at the heartstrings to get us in through the door.
We hope he's got something else in that bag apart from the book, kids these days don't read anything on paper. Where's the iPad, pal?
