No, we don't have anything in our eyes. It's just these damn onions. Michael King promised his stepfather when he was EIGHT years old that he would buy his father a '57 Chevy Bel-Air on his 57th birthday.

Well, young Michael King didn't forget and sure enough, when it came to the day in question, King presented his father with the car. King had reportedly worked overtime and kept the car in storage for two years, waiting for the special day.

Here's his stepdad's reaction. Mmmf. Promised.. we wouldn't... cry... (And the cats and the cradle and the silver spoon)

The car needs a little work and Michael has opened a donation page to help with the restoration.
