So said Desmond Llewelyn, the original Q, to Timothy Dalton's Bond in Licence to Kill and sure enough it's hard to see how Bond would have made it out of some tricky situations over the years without the help of his gadgets.
Although the producers have reined in the use of cheesy gadgets considerably since the beginning of the Craig era, the return of Q in the form of Ben Whishaw since Skyfall has signaled a new dawn for Q Branch with more 'practical' inventions being incorporated.
The good people at Burger Fiction have gone ahead and made a compilation video of every gadget ever used by Bond (all 193 of them) in chronological order and there's some crackers in there.
