On the one hand, kudos for trying something clearly completely out of his comfort zone. On the other hand, it's not strictly (apologies) dancing if he doesn't move his feet more than four times...

While Ed is a dab hand at the lifts - and it does take some skill to make hoisting another person around the place seem effortless - there's just not a whole lot else going on. The only times he seems to move is to lift his partner, lie on the ground, or when the camera darts behind one of the onset props. According to The Mirror, he had to train 5 hours a day to get to this level. To put it another way - he's no Alfonso...

On the whole, it's a bit pants. As ever, when we say something is "pants", it usually means that pants feature heavily. As it happens, his partner has a fine pair of pants on her; a good thing given her arse - which is very adept in the art of distraction and no doubt employed for its prowess in that area - would've completely outshone Ed had it been clad in anything different. In other words, we lost count of the bum shots. ENJOY!

To date, we've had Ed as a muppet doing Justin Timberlake (Sing), Ed borrowing heavily from Lucy Pearl's Don't Mess With My Man (Don't), and now Thinking Out Loud's has more than a hum of Marvin's Let's Get It On... And people wonder why every single's a hit, hah?
