Sky News featured a live interview with Caroline Fourest, a contributor to Charlie Hebdo, during a broadcast of Sky News Tonight last night and, in hindsight, it probably wasn't the best idea.

Fourest was on the show talking about last week's terrorist attacks on the satirical newspaper's offices in Paris, and was complaining about the elements of the British media who have refused to show the latest cover of Charlie Hebdo (which features a cartoon of the prophet Muhammad), and in doing so raised it up to the camera. And yes, Sky News are one of these outlets refusing to show the cover, hence the following reaction.

Between the cameraman cutting Fourest out of shot, the producers cutting her off and anchor Dharshini David's immediate apology and scramble to hold the show together live on air, it's all a bit of a hot mess (which obviously makes for great watching).

Adam Boulton's massive intake of air says it all.
