Meeting your childhood heroes and being able to whip out a photo of you wearing some of their blockbuster merchandise isn't something that's available to most people but when the opportunity came up for Thomas Middleditch, he ran with it.
Russell and Middleditch joined Corde for last night's 'Late Late Show' and it was immediately apparent that the Silicon Valley star was on edge sitting next to one of his childhood heroes.
Thankfully Corden had the perfect thing to break the tension - a picture of a very teenage Middleditch wearing a 'Backdraft' t-shirt that he got after going on the ride based on the Kurt Russell film in Universal Studios. The following exchange is beyond adorable and just goes to show what kind of guy Russell is.
