Ricky Forbes is used to catching the unexpected as he drives around what with making his living as a tornado hunter (which is apparently a real job?), so when he spotted a bear cub on the highway in Kootenay National Park last Saturday he wasn't totally surprised.
And luckily for us, he managed to whip out his camera in time to catch Momma bear coming to the rescue and hauling the cub to safety before any harm was done. And you can tell that mother bear is equal parts concerned and annoyed by the way she looks both ways and then picks up her cub and tosses back to the safe side of the divide. This is clearly not the first time this has happened.
