400 people have been injured in central Russia after a meteorite crashed to earth. Yes, an actual meteorite.

The meteorite can be seen flying across the sky in multiple videos, and left a vapour trail in its wake which could be seen from as far as 200km away. 102 people called emergency services for treatment, most of them for injuries from broken glass after the meteorite crash caused shockwaves that shook buildings and set off alarms throughout the town of Chelyabinsk. The origin of the meteorite is unknown, but could it be possibly be linked to the asteroid which passed the Earth on Tuesday? The movie buffs in us say yes. That or it's a coverup for a missile test gone wrong, or an alien invasion. Hollywood has educated us amazingly well.

We don't know why Russians always have cameras recording in their cars and other places, but today we're grateful they did.
