Matt Le Blanc has admitted the one reason he decided to take on the Top Gear presenting gig - he needed a job.
Which is fair enough really. The man who was once the fastest star in the reasonably priced car was quizzed about why he took on the gig during a recent appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden and was pretty forthcoming with his reasoning.
As Matt explains, his comedy series Episodes was coming to an end. So when the Top Gear producers approached him he thought “Okay, why not?”.
Although the rebooted Top Gear has been getting mixed reviews thus far, Le Blanc has generally been receiving praise for his contribution to the show.
