The ice bucket challenge, set up to raise awareness for ALS, or Lou Gehrig's Disease, has quickly become a viral sensation, and some of the most well-known people in the world are getting in on it.

It began as a campaign to raise awareness and some money for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a condition which has left Peter Frates, a former baseball player at Boston College, unable to talk, paralyzed and eating through a tube, but has quickly become an internet sensation.

It started off in the Boston area this month, when his friends and family invented the challenge and started nominating people to follow them, or donate $100 to a charity that helps those with the condition. It has exploded since then with people like Jimmy Fallon, the New England Patriots NFL team, Greg Norman, Adam Levine and pretty much anyone else you can think of taking it on, and they have raised $2.3 million in just a few short weeks. Most recently, Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg did it, and nominated some pretty big names too.

We'll have to wait and see if they accept the challenge so...
