Alex Chacón travelled around the world recently, and over the space of three years recorded his epic journey with some selfies.

Before he left on his journey, Alex decided to sell everything he owned and head off in order to raise awareness and money for children’s charities around the globe. Hitting over 36 countries across 600 days, he documented the whole thing with the use of a GoPro.

From the Grand Canyon to the Taj Mahal, Alex manages to squeeze almost everything into this short, three-minute video, which will make you feel like clocking out and heading off for the next few years.

Alex named his journey The Modern Moto Diaries, taking perhaps an influence from Che Guevarra, having graduated from the University of Texas with an Honors in Biomedical Sciences, Nutrition and Chemistry. He also sometimes gives motorcycle tours in Latin America, which sounds like a pretty great way to spend a few months.
