Say hello to Sakura the penguin, who has fallen in love with a man in the aviary centre in Japan and now follows him everywhere. Prepare yourself for an onslaught of cute waddling.
Sakura is a ten-year-old female penguin who has become very attached to one Tsuyoshi Notsu, a worker in Matsue Vogel Park, since last December. Apparently penguins have a thing for low-sounding voices, and between that and the affection Notsu gives her, Sakura is smitten.
But there is a sad side to this tale. You know how penguins mate for life? Well Sakura had a mate, but he died last year and Sakura apparently continued to search for him over and over until she found Notsu and his deep voice. And now she follows him everywhere. Dawwww.
