All men must die, we know, but it turns out all famous women must do pandering cliched makeup commercials. But not if Maisie Williams has anything to do with it.
Williams takes aim at the painfully stereotypical beauty ads that we've seen every major female (and sometimes male) celebrity align themselves with in return for a big paycheck over the years in her own ad for Three in the UK (and yes, those are irony bells you hear ringing).
But instead of singing the praises of beauty, she skewers celebrity culture, ads and herself, all in the name of phone coverage (and a paycheck for herself).
Not many stars would be able to do this and still have us like them.
