Central London came to a standstill this lunchtime after a bus had its roof almost completely severed off after colliding with low-hanging branches on Kingsway in Holburn.
The number 91 bus was heading to Trafalgar Square when the accident happened on the busy London street near the London School of Economics.

There are no reports of any serious injuries, with London Fire Brigade reporting that their were only minor ones, and London Ambulance Service confirming they were treating four patients (three bus passengers and one motorist) who are now probably considered extremely lucky.
