Irish boxing superstar Katie Taylor was on hand to present one lucky young student with some great news today in Galway.
Taylor was at Ardscoil Mhuire in Ballinasloe to tell Stephanie O'Halloran that she was the winner of the Sky Sports Living for Sport Student of the Year award for Ireland and let her know that she would be jetting off to London this weekend to the Sky Sports Living for Sport Awards at Sky Studios to discover whether she will be crowned the overall UK & Ireland Student of the Year.
It was all set up nicely too, as Stephanie had no idea, and the students were in the middle of a quiz. One of the answers to the questions was Katie Taylor, and right on queue the Olympic champion strolled in to give Stephanie the good news.
Not a bad way for your average school day to go.
