There's pretty much no holiday or event that Jimmy Kimmel won't use to prank people on. He already has a Christmas routine with the Krasinski-Blunts, his annual Halloween candy prank for parents to pull and now he's getting people to play mind games all for our entertainment.
Kimmel challenged his viewers to say "April Fool's" to people as they drank their perfectly normal and harmless morning coffee and to record the reaction and see how bad people's paranoia would get. And of course because having even the slightest hint that something you just drank could have been tampered with, everyone's imagination ran away with them and they freaked the hell out.
This is evil and brilliant.
