There have a been a few MMA documentaries in recent years, which is pretty natural considering the progression into the mainstream of the sport. While our own Conor McGregor as featured in 2 (Setanta Sports’ Barbaric Gentlemen, and his own RTE one from the guys in Severe MMA) Fight Church takes a completely different angle.
The tagline seems to be ‘MMA-fighting pastors’, with the title itself a fairly clear, pretty much literal indication of what it’s about. But it does also feature some UFC stars, former Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson, and current Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, who both pop up talking about their faith.
It’s an intriguing set-up, with some very interesting characters. Looking forward to seeing this one surface.
