In fairness, we could watch Jeff Goldblum talk about pretty much anything in that endearing-rambly-anecdoctal way that he has - but when he's discussing dogs, we're 100% on board.

Goldblum appeared on Conan last night to discuss his role in Wes Anderson's 'Isle of Dogs', and said that he didn't do much research into his role as a 'Bohemian mountain dog' apart from hanging out with his own dog - whom his 2.5 year-old son Charlie Ocean is also best buds with.

He also revealed that he literally phoned in his part on the film: "I couldn't go for one scheduling reason or another, so I stayed here in California and Wes was on the phone," he said.
