It's not necessarily the worst singing or performance ever but if it was us we would have cringed equally hard.

James Corden and Eddie Redmayne go way back to when they were kids in stage school together, and last night Corden decided to bring that up much to the Oscar-winner's chagrin.

Turns out young Redmayne was a big Andrew Lloyd Webber fan and didn't subscribe to gender norms when it came to singing, his song of choice being 'Memory' from 'Cats', made famous by Elaine Paige back in the day and very much a staple of female singers in the music and theatre world.
