The eyes of Irish MMA fans will be on Cage Contender flyweight champion Neil Seery this weekend when he makes his UFC debut in London against veteran Londoner Brad 'One Punch' Pickett. The Dubliner, who holds a 13-9 record, takes the bout on short notice filling in for top ranked contender Ian McCall who withdrew due to injury.

Seery has had little more than two weeks to prepare for the biggest fight of his career under the bright lights of the UFC and will feature on the main card of a UFC event - something that not even Conor McGregor has achieved yet. The match-up between these two 125lb fighters looks to be have all the ingredients necessary for a memorable fight. Neither man is known for backing down from a brawl and both are very capable of winning no matter where the fight goes, if it stays on the fight or one of them elects to take it to the floor.

As one would expect, given that this is the biggest fight of list Seery has been the focus of mainstream media attention in the UK ahead of the bout on Saturday evening and you can get a sample of that above as journalists descended on an open workout this afternoon to catch a glimpse of how the pair are looking as we head towards the big night.

You can watch the event exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
