The Christmas dinner is the most important dinner of the year, and while most of the time it goes off without a hitch, it sometimes doesn't quite go to plan.
That's what Dearbhla Brogan from Ballina, Co. Mayo wanted to make her mother think anyway after she played a bit of a prank on her this Christmas. She fooled her mum in to believing that the dog had eaten the Christmas ham and the foul-mouthed tirade that followed has gone viral since, although we get the impression that she didn't much care for the festive fooling.
Still, she saw the funny side at least, but Dearbhla can probably expect a lump of coal in the stocking next Christmas.
