Armagh's Jay Beatty is one of Celtic's biggest fans, and former striker Giorgios Samaras is without a doubt his favourite player.

You may remember last year that his superfandom of Samaras even got him an offer to travel to the World Cup to see his hero play, and it also got him on to the pitch during Celtic's game against Hamilton last month, where he slotted home a penalty in front of an adoring crowd.

Seeing as the goal was so popular, the SPL decided to enter it in to their goal of the month competition for January, and give the public a chance to vote on it along with the rest of the entries. It's the final one in the list, Goal J, and the crowd gave a huge reception to Jay and his family from all corners of the ground.

Jay's goal won by a landslide, with 97% of the vote, and there was only one person in the world that they could choose to break the news to Jay himself today; his hero, Samaras.
