When you're a puppy, pretty much everything is a new and challenging experience, in particular the stairs.
Think about it, they're almost the same size as you, it would be like us trying to hop a big wall and then going in to the unknown. What's at the top of the stairs? Who knows, it could be treats, or something sinister. How do you get back down? These questions all remain a terrifying mystery.
This brave cocker spaniel pup however decided that he could do it, but he just needed to muster the courage first. A lesson for us all in this...
