Then fact Stephen pointed out that the winner of Best Costume Design was "dressed like a bag lady" (for the record, they're friends, and he was clearly having a laugh. That didn't stop twitter from having a go, which lead to Fry then tweeting: "Will all you sanctimonious f*ckers f*ck the f*ck off Jenny Beavan is a friend and joshing is legitimate. Christ I want to leave the planet" before sadly deleting it).
Following that, Domhnall Gleeson suggested Carrie Fischer like making Paddy jokes, and there was that very humorous bit involving Kiss Cam... but none garnered as many guffaws as Rebel Wilson's intro speech for Best Supporting Actor. Idris Elba looked like he was going to burst (with laughter).
In short, she stole the show.
