Fans of Paris-Dakar Rally will know that this is a common occurrence, albeit not as spectacular as this.

The crash, recorded by a bystander in the Bolivian Special Stage, sees a rally truck hit a bump on the road at a whopping 110 miles an hour.

Thanks to roll-cages and safety harnesses, the driver and co-driver made a quick escape with little or no damage to their person.

As it turned out, the bump in question which caused the crash - and the one next to them - wasn't marked on their maps.

Adjust your volume if you've got headphones on as it's pretty loud.
