Sweden's mighty tradition of making fabulous disco music and making hard-to-build furniture has made them the envy of the world.

However, this might just push them over the edge. In honour of King Carl Gustaf XVI's 70th birthday, the Swedish Army's marching band gave him a special treat in honour of being a septuagenarian and, y'know, king of one of the most advanced countries of the world. As part of the King's birthday celebrations, the men of Arméns Musikkårs Figpremiär played Abba's classic from 1976, Dancing Queen.

That's right - a full-blown military marching band playing fabulous disco music. Amazing.

Take a look.

And now for some utterly pointless trivia. Dancing Queen has been covered by over 50 artists and was the number one-selling single in Sweden's music charts for fourteen weeks in 1976.

King Carl Gustaf XVI, meanwhile, is the Honorary Chairman of the World Scouting Foundation and owns a huge collection of Porsche 911s. Sweden also has the highest amount of working mothers in the world, with over 76% of all mothers in active employment.

See? Random trivia and disco music. Every day's a school day.
