Yeah, we can't figure this one out either.
Filmed in Aqaba, Jordan, this video shows how strong Turkish coffee is made with sand, fire and some sort of steel trapper thing that makes it boil.
We're guessing there's some sort of reaction between whatever's in the cup and the sand that causes the coffee to boil, but hell if we know what it is.
Has anyone ever tried this? It looks like it's insanely thick coffee. You'd be awake for days on this stuff.
