54-year-old Frenchman Eric Barone is already the holder of the world speed record, but he wasn't satisfied with that, so earlier this year decided to break it again.

On March 28th, he headed to Vars in the Alps to hit a speed of 223.30 km/h or 138.75 mp/h on a mountainbike travelling downhill, breaking his own record and going pretty damn fast.

Apparently it was -4°C on the day, so at least all that protective gear probably kept him warm as well. And safe, we suppose.
