The Champs-Élysées didn't know what hit it when L'Oréal dropped two A-listers into its Paris Fashion Week show this weekend.

72-year-old Mirren and 79-year-old Fonda showed their younger counterparts how it was done when they took part in the brand's show in the French capital yesterday, with Mirren walking in a Charlie Chaplin-esque coat and trousers, complete with cane that she used to high dramatic effect.

Fonda meanwhile strutted down the runway flashing peace signs in a tiger print full-length Balmain dress before high-fiving her fellow models, all while making it look like the easiest job in the world. She's not holiday royalty for nothing.

Cheryl Tweedy (yes, she's back to that name for now) also made her catwalk debut in the show, joining the likes of Doutzen Kroes on the runway.
