Pharrell is EVERYWHERE this morning. We're starting to think he's got clones.

Before he makes a surprise (not much of a surprise now, apologies) appearance on one of the most strangely shot episodes of Ellen ever (the cameraman either didn't know how to pan back or was drunk), Gwen Stefani opened up about how she needs to escape her three kids every now and again. It's relatable.

The 45-year-old - a mother of three children - says that although she loves her kids, she dreams about disappearing from them at times. Ellen said: "You look fantastic. Especially considering that you have three boys that have to be ... Kingston, Zuma and Apollo now. I just saw them backstage, they could not be cuter."

Gwen took umbrage with the suggestion that her kids are unusually well behaved, saying: "It gets crazy. Everybody knows that whole 4-8 at night is like chaos. It's like the crazy time in our house. The other day we were driving home and I was thinking ok Motel 6. If I can just find one and go there and disappear. Disappear from my life. 'But, no. They're incredible."

OK, parents love their kids, and people should be thankful and appreciate every day they're not sick and welcome the chaos that comes with a happy child, but - no matter how much you love them, or how good they are - MUMMY AND DADDY NEED A BLEEDIN' BREAK. And that's when they go onstage with Pharrell and pen tracks about fire safety...
