A heroic grandfather in Australia risked life and limb to save his granddaughter after the pram in which she was sitting rolled on to the tracks and into the path of an oncoming train.
The incident took place at Wentworthville Station in Sydney, and CCTV captured the dramatic scene as he realised what was happening and sprang into action. The family were buying train tickets when the stroller began to roll towards the tracks, eventually falling on to them.
The footage shows the incident from two different angles as he runs to save her, jumps on the tracks and hands the pram and the child back up, before getting out of the way of the oncoming freight train in the knick of time.
