Back in our schooldays, a dog showing up anywhere on the premises, even just spotting one in the car park from the classroom window, was enough to bring any other activity to a screeching halt.

Math, Chemistry, Spanish; it didn't matter, nothing was more important than that dog. As you get older, you'd think that a dog showing up would get less interesting, but it doesn't, of course, and that was proven over the weekend as a friendly pup showed up in a match between Belgrano and Quilmes in the Argentine Primera Division.

The furry character somehow wandered through the stadium and on to the pitch, where she headed straight for one of the players, who began petting her. Another player showed up to get involved too, before eventually picking her up and giving her belly a rub.

No one can resist the lure of the random dog.
