Reuniting or seeing someone you knew from school is always an awkward situation.

Do they remember you? Do you go over and say hello? Do you even remember their name?

There's a myriad of reasons not to do it, but if you're forced into a situation, you've just got to go with it.

This, however, takes it to an entirely new level.

Judge Mindy Glazer of the Miami-Dade Bond Court was in session yesterday when Arthur Booth, a man who was arrested after being chased by police who suspected of robbery, came before her.

Judge Glazer recognised him as a former classmate from middle school.

Take a look.

Booth broke down in tears as Judge Glazer replied, "I'll always wondered what happened to you. I'm sorry to see you here."

It's understood Booth has had problems with drugs since middle school, however Judge Glazer remembered him more fondly.

"He was one of the nicest, best kids in school," Judge Glazer remarked from the dock.

Unfortunately, she had to continue with her job and handed down a $44,000 bail for Booth.

He's currently in jail awaiting trial.
