If the idea of a fat Ewan McGregor gets your juices flowing, then 2017 is going to be a good year for you.
McGregor visited Jimmy Kimmel last night and gave the tiniest of hints about his upcoming role on the third season of 'Fargo'.
"I've started preparing for it", he told Kimmel when asked if he'd started filming the show yet. "I have to load on a bit of weight so I've started doing a bit of that."
Now if you're a 'Fargo' fan, you'll remember that Jesse Plemons also gained a lot of weight for his role on the show, so whether or not McGregor will have any relation to his character remains to be seen.
Although if you're a fan of his Obi-Wan Kenobi, don't get your hopes up as McGregor has said that the Star Wars people are yet to get in touch with him about appearing in the new films. That said, we do know that Disney are big fans of keeping secrets so who knows.
He'll just have lose those extra 'Fargo' pounds first.
