Every now and then, we all dream of what it would be like if one of the greatest players to ever play the game showed up at our weekly five-a-side.
Would we be able to hang? Could he do it on a wet windy night in Ringsend? Would he really be all that much better than us, and wouldn't it be great if we we re able to surprise him with our little bit of skill here and there?
Well, according to this recently uploaded footage of Diego Maradona playing futsal with his mates in the '90s (when he was still in reasonably good knick) the answer to all of those questions is...well yes and no depending on the question. Essentially, yes he would be miles better than you, and no, you would not look cool, you would be embarrassed as he quite literally ran a ring around you, just for fun.
