We're not sure how we missed Danny Dyer comparing Katie Hopkins to a female sanitary product, we must've been doing something more productive...
Tuesday saw Danny Dyer land the Soap Personality prize at the Television and Radio Industries Club Awards. It also saw him appear in Katie Hopkins' column, where she suggested that his new fiance will live in fear of him doing the dirt on her. Therefore Tuesday also saw Danny compare Hopkins to a Tampon. We'll get to that in a bit.
According to the BBC, Danny said the following to those assembled London's Grosvenor Hotel when collecting the award: "I don't want to give anyone the oxygen or publicity. But I have to say this award is for my personality and it's my personality that gets me into trouble... I'd like to dedicate it to Steptoe…Please don't make vile people famous".
He then took to twitter to post this...

Danny also posted a portrait photo taken of Hopkins with her three children, where they all look pretty miserable... Comparing someone to a tampon is one thing, but getting the kids involved is another. Then again, if you play with fire...
